Proposed By-Law changes offered at the 2006 Mid-Winter Meeting

Amend Article IV, Section 1, Sub Section B & C of the By-Laws of the Florida Shrine Association by add thereto certain language, so that such section, as amended, will read as follows, with the new language italicized:

ARTICLE IV – OFFICERS

Section 1.

  1. The offices of the President, First Vice President, Second Vice President & Third Vice Presidents shall be members of their respective temples’ elected progressive Divan, High Priest and Prophet and up, or a Past Potentate of their respective member temple. They shall be rotated among MEMBER TEMPLES, in such a manner, as the host temples of the Florida Shrine Association pursuant to Article VII – Section 4, below.
  1. The Secretary/Treasurer may be from any member temple and may succeed himself in office. *(Officers of the Association shall be members of their respective temples’ elective progressive Divan, High Priest and Prophet and up, or a Past Potentate of their respective member temple.)
